Here is a copy of the questionnaire sent out to various people of our ages in order to gather information about what kind of music videos people like, what they feel is good about certain music videos etc. This will help not only during planning but also during editing ensuring we can draw on the strong points of various music videos while eliminating the weak points.

The majority of people asked are our age as the music video's target audience would be people of our age however we also asks other age groups to get a wider opinion on the topic as while there may be a target audience there is always another audience as well.



An equal number of male and female people were also asked in order to receive equal representation of genders to widen the audience as well as giving us some ideas of what we may add to widen the audience of the video.



The genre of music a person enjoys is very important when doing research for a music video. Different people with different tastes will react differently to the  same idea and so we made sure we asked this question so we can understand some of the reasoning behind a person's point of view. Furthermore this allowed us to see which genres were more common and plan our music video around this.


We also asked people whether they felt a music video was important in promoting a new single as this can also be a way of telling whether people regularly watch music videos as well as whether they get new songs on release or not and so this song covers a good spectrum of points and shows how a good music video can be influential on sales shortly after release.
