Every Kingdom
This advert clearly continues the style present within the album artwork itself, continuing the image but showing us more of the deeper darkness of the water. This not only continues the themes of simplicity and nature present with the artist but produces a sense of uniformity between the various forms of advertising, giving the album itself one global, clear image to make any form of related content easily identifiable.
However it also could be said to give a much clearer reflection of the music, in the album artwork we see that most the image is consumed with light leaving only the lower quarter or so of the image in darkness suggesting the good far outweighs the bad however in this case the extra height of the poster helps further portray the image and feel of the artwork as light and dark appear to both hold about half of the poster, a much clearly conflict than what could be seen as a very light oriented conflict on the album artwork. This therefore is a much more accurate reflection of the type of music produced as this constant battle between good and bad is a key theme both for this artist and the genre in general and therefore this poster is a good reflection of that due to the seemingly equal strength of both sides.
